White Peony Rosettes / Darjeeling

The white peony rosettes are made from long white tea buds. First the young buds are carefully tied together in small bundles and then formed into the rosette shape ready for low temperature firing. To brew the tea, place one rosette into a cup, add hot water, and steep for three minutes. The tea is very smooth and sweet and well balanced, with a tremendous floral aroma. Each additional infusion gets sweeter and more complex.
