Brazilian Cerrado Minas Gerais is sourced from the Cerrado Mineiro region in the state of Minas Gerais. The region is responsible for 12.7 percent of Brazil’s coffee output. Cerrado Mineiro is also the first region in Brazil to receive Designation of Origin status, giving it similar stature to wine-producing regions. This means that coffee labeled “Cerrado” has to actually come from Cerrado. This coffee possesses a honeyed sweetness, mild, clean acidity with a smooth and creamy body.
